As apple has come again with its newest flagships iPhone7 and iPhone 7 plus, which are introduced with improved cameras, water resistance and redesigned Home button. While considering the looks these phones may look roughly like its predecessors except the change in the home key which is not clickable anymore.

Along with the sensitive home button with “taptic engine”Apple has made some other big changes to iPhone 7 like lack of headphone jack aside. As the home button of the phone is software-based the iOS will be able to detect any kind of malfunctions of the home button.

The best part of the tale is that iOS will automatically detect the malfunction and open a dialog box automatically with the inclusion of the information for the user that the home button is required servicing. And before doing this the iOS will also make an alternative onscreen home button for temporary use and service that will help the user to use the phone as a normal condition.

Well, this can be cool and trendy but the main case is how we are supposed to do the reboot or reset iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus that is needed sometimes on about each of handset also including iPhones. As in the predecessors of iPhone, the rebooting and resetting process can be easily done with the home key and power key that enables force reboot. But in the case of a non-clickable home button it is not possible to achieve, so what to do when jailbreak goes wrong?

But you have to not take much load for it as apple has provided its alternate solution also as there is a new combination of keys provided for reboot and reset iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus that does not need for the home button at all. If you want to force reset your new iPhone without physical clickable home key then you have to opt for following options:

  1. Press and hold down the power button which is located on right-hand side of both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus.
  2. During the hold of the power button, you will need to press and hold down the Volume down button which is left the side of iPhone 7 this time.
  3. Now hold down the both buttons till the screen turns off. And after few moment the screen would blink with the apple logo and start the booting process.
  4. Now, wait till the iPhone 7 completely boot up.
